Based just off the Quay in Old Harwich, we offer authentic Thai cuisine and a warm welcome. We specialise in authentic Thai cuisine, freshly cooked to order. All dishes are prepared in-house by our experienced chef. We are open Tuesday to Saturday for dinner from 6pm. We also cater for special occasions or private events.

The Alma Inn and Dining Rooms has been at the centre of Harwich life since the 1850s serving ale to the citizens, sailors, soldiers and farmers of the wind that passed through. We offer food seven days a week. Ideally located within moments of the quay or a five minute walk from Harwich town station.

Very much open for business today the Stingray has an interesting and perhaps surprising history. As well as being a popular bar the pub also has bed and breakfast facilities for those seeking a longer stay in the old town.

Opened under new management in April 2017 we decided that the fantastic building needed a menu and team to complement the decor of the building.

NAVYÄRD is a continental bar and terrace overlooking the working harbour in Harwich town. The Globe is a traditional pub in a fabulous and unspoilt old building close to the Navy Yard and the Quay. Pop in for a beer and it is easy to imagine the shipwrights doing the same thing 250 years ago.

Wonderful cafe with great food and service, also boasting the best views in Harwich. Right on the Ha’Penny Pier. Open everyday for delicious home cooked meals from the specials board or a light snack from the menu.

The Rainbow cafe is located a stone’s throw away from the beach in Dovercourt Bay. It also enjoys an outdoor seating area for lazy summer lunches. Open 8.30am – 5pm daily.
