Acting legend Gary Oldman was spotted in Harwich this week as the town hosts the filming of a new MI5 thriller starring the Dark Knight and Harry Potter actor alongside BAFTA award-winner, Kristin Scott Thomas. The Apple TV series, Slow Horses, is based on the books by award-winning author Mick Herron which will air later this year.

A spokesperson said: “It’s been great having the filming production team on our site. We’ve had snipers on our roof, police cars screeching across our car park, boats, explosions – all very exciting stuff.”
