Often overlooked in the story of the Pilgrim voyage to America, Historic Harwich was home to the Master of the Mayflower ship – Christopher Jones.
The Master’s house on King Street still stands today, and plans to open the doors as an attraction for tourists in 2020 will re-cement our town’s important role in the Pilgrim Trail.
